Job Summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support sales efforts at a floorcovering store. As a Floorcovering Installation Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating all aspects of floorcovering installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floorcovering customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Sales Efforts: Assist in identifying floorcovering installers, schedule installation, and ensure installation is conducted consistent with expectations.
  • Coordinate Installation: Establish installation schedule and communicate assignments to installers.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Perform on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Installer Accounts: Review new and existing floorcovering installer accounts, including contacting outside sources for information.
  • Process Transactions: Ensure all installer transactions are handled properly through the store computer operating system and records are properly maintained.
  • Training and Development: Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Work Schedule: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Industry Knowledge: Have previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products.
  • Operational Skills: Have prior work experience operating floorcovering cutting equipment.
  • Installation Experience: Have previous work experience installing floorcovering.
  • Certification: Have the Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Spanish Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
