Job Title: School Psychologist

Job Summary:
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Manassas, Virginia to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages. This position requires a Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology and state certification and/or licensure to start the assignment.

Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. Coordinate outreach activities that support students and families, including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc.

Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology, state certification and/or licensure, experience working in a school setting, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members, proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings, and strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions.
