Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Job Description:
  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients.
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies and use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality and follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
  • State-specific licensing when required.

As a CT Tech, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop easily. You must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
