Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for preparing biological samples for testing, performing various examinations, and analyzing results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory sciences and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare biological samples for testing, including tissue, blood, urine, spinal fluid, and gastric juices.
  • Perform serological, bacteriological, biochemical, hematological, and microbiological examinations on samples.
  • Analyze results and determine whether sample parameters fall within normal ranges.
  • Summarize results and report findings to referring physicians and medical specialists.
  • Inventory laboratory stock and supplies, and order replenishments.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, including analyzers, colorimeters, flame photometers, and spectrophotometers.
Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years of current MLT experience.
  • ASCP certification.
  • BLS through AHA.
  • COVID-19 vaccinated.
  • Travel required.
Schedule:

4x10 hour shifts, afternoon shift, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 10 hours/day.

Pay:

$32.00 per hour.
