About the Job

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job Summary

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to women during labor and childbirth, monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers, and assisting doctors. You will also help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients during labor and childbirth
  • Monitor the baby and the mother's vital signs
  • Coach mothers and assist doctors during deliveries
  • Help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, days
