We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit team at Allegheny General Hospital. As a Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and cardiac arrhythmias.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or multi-state licensure through the eNLC.
- Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care setting.
