About the Role
As a Cardiac Specialty Staff RN at Providence, you will provide direct quality care for cardiac patients in an out-patient setting. You will use the nursing process to assess, treat, and care for patients, including adults and geriatrics. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing patient data and understanding the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual, and chronological maturation process.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with cardiac conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
- Current National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification
- 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Certified Cardiac Device Specialist Certification
