Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
  • Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
  • BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
