Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Delivery Associate to join our team. As an Appliance Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for delivering and installing household appliances in customers' homes. This is a direct hire opportunity, and you will start with our company on day one.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and install household appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, and stoves, in customers' homes.
- Test the operation of appliances and make initial installation adjustments as needed.
- Level washing machines and connect hoses to water pipes, using plumbing and other hand tools.
- Disassemble and re-install existing kitchen cabinets and assemble and install prefabricated kitchen cabinets in conjunction with appliance installation.
- Advise customers on the use and care of appliances and provide them with emergency service information.
- Light and adjust pilot lights on gas stoves and examine valves and burners for gas leakage and specified flame.
Requirements:
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to work independently.
- Previous experience in moving, appliance installation, or plumbing is preferred.
- Ability to work in teams of two and lift 50+ pounds.
