About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team at First American. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating user-centered design solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to design and develop world-class technology products that fuel the real estate industry. You will be responsible for leading design efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our designs are rooted in user needs and technically feasible.

We are looking for a talented designer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and can champion forward-thinking, practical design. If you have a strong portfolio and experience guiding designs from inception to realization, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on UI/UX best practices and standards
  • Collect and evaluate user requirements with the help of product managers and engineers
  • Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts
  • Provide responsive/interactive prototypes for approval by the business
  • Evaluate the quality of the user experience and make recommendations to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and overall satisfaction of the user
Requirements
  • 5+ years of directly related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated; self-starter, Good time administration
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft application suite
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience with Sketch, InVision, HTML, Visio, iOS, Android, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Experience conducting UX Research to inform design decisions product roadmaps
  • A Portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrates experiences crafting usable digital interfaces including quantitative, qualitative, usability, testing methods

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO/paid sick leave and other great benefits like an employee stock purchase plan. Pay Range: $142,000 - 174,000. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
