About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Bryan, Texas.


This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with rotating call. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, adhering to established protocols, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including preparation, imaging, and disposal of radioactive materials.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including medical history, test results, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
