Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Department at St. Charles Health System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide treatment to patients with physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in various settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet St. Charles Health System driving requirements
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a hospital-based setting
  • Board Certification in Gerontology (BCG) or other relevant certifications
