Maintenance Technician Job Description

At Asset Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including common areas, buildings, and units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to resident and management requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Assist with the scheduling and performance of maintenance-related turn events.
  • Inspect properties daily to identify and address any hazardous conditions or liability concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, EPA/OSHA standards, and preventative maintenance.
  • Participate in on-call emergency response at our communities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
