Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our team at WeHa Park, CT location. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to NAEYC guidelines.
  • Assist teachers with instructional activities, supporting the development of young minds.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing learning space that promotes exploration and creativity.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.
  • Capacity to work within regular operating hours, including flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Meet state criteria for child care employment.
