Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Med Surg Urology team at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring patient condition and communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring accurate and timely implementation of care plans.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Texas.
