About the Role

Voya Financial is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Associate to join our team. As an Actuarial Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our actuarial staff by preparing and analyzing statistical information for use in actuarial computations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and administrative support to actuarial staff by preparing and analyzing statistical information.
  • Participate in the Actuarial Student Rotation Program.
  • Assist in quarterly financial reporting processes, including STAT/TAX/GAAP reserve calculations for payout products, excess capital exposures, and annual assumption updates.
  • Assist in Long duration contracts Targeted Improvement (LDTI) related testing and implementations for payout products.
  • Assist in improving existing financial reporting processes and infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues on cross-trainings and work transitions as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • One (1) year of experience working as an Actuarial Associate, Actuarial Assistant, or related position.
  • Must have passed at least 3 Actuarial Exams.
  • Experience must include: Utilizing Excel, VBA, Access, R, and SAS; and VBA Programming.
