Emergency Room Nurse Opportunity at Grand Strand Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing timely and compassionate care to patients of all ages presenting for emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage, assess, and treat patients with emergency and life-threatening conditions
  • Document pertinent nursing notes to reflect changes in condition, transfer, and discharge
  • Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed
  • Coordinate and triage incoming ambulance traffic
  • Manage care with primary ED attending
  • Demonstrate ability to manage critical situations and make care-based decisions
  • Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
