Mission Statement: Support activities related to design and development for OPW Product Lines.

Accountabilities: Execute engineering tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager. Collaborate with various personnel as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

What You Will Do:
  • Maintain detail and assembly drawings using the Unigraphics System.
  • Create drawings from sketches and layouts.
  • Assist in prototype design and construction under supervision.
  • Conduct prototype testing under supervision.
  • Learn to utilize the Oracle system and become proficient in data gathering and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Support product areas to enhance manufacturing, quality control, and sales.
  • Participate in local field testing.
  • Assist with Bill of Materials maintenance.
  • Engage in other identified activities.
Physical Work Requirements:
  • Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, squatting.
  • Ability to work with chemicals and fiberglass.
  • Utilization of small hand tools, material pallet jack, hand router, drill press.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in both office and manufacturing/lab environments.
  • Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
What You Will Bring:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Motivated to learn and take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working professionally with a diverse workforce.
  • General proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, etc.).
  • Aptitude for data gathering and analysis with attention to detail.
  • Availability for full-time work during the assigned rotation.
