About the Role:
The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality care to patients with injuries or disabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute treatment plans for patients as prescribed by occupational therapists.
- Deliver treatment to achieve identified objectives in occupational therapy evaluations.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and storage spaces.
- Establish strong relationships with patients, staff, and families.
- Follow state regulations and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Certification and active license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current state driver's license.
- Current auto liability insurance.
