NCH Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care team. As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing plans of care for patients in our acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial therapy evaluations and re-evaluations to assess patient functional skills and impairments
- Develop and implement plans of care that are safe, effective, and patient-centered
- Provide treatment services that are tailored to the patient's age, culture, and disability
- Delegate patient care to team members within their scope of practice
- Document patient care information in a timely and accurate manner
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Intermediate computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
