Job Summary

OnTrac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Package Handler Lead to oversee the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of package handlers to ensure efficient and accurate processing of packages.
  • Train and develop package handlers to improve their skills and performance.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Inspect packages to ensure they are properly prepared for transportation.
  • Collaborate with operations managers to achieve business objectives and improve processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and package handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items averaging 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
