Healthcare Staffing Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Healthcare Staffing Director to lead our recruitment and client management efforts at our rapidly growing healthcare staffing firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment process, managing relationships with healthcare facilities, and ensuring the placement of qualified healthcare professionals.
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills who can manage a team of recruiters, build client relationships, and drive business growth in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of recruiters to ensure the timely placement of healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health professionals, and physicians.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.
- Monitor recruitment metrics (fill rates, time-to-fill, etc.) and ensure the team meets or exceeds staffing goals.
- Oversee candidate sourcing, interviewing, credentialing, and onboarding processes, ensuring all placements meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other medical organizations.
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing staffing needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Work closely with clients to understand their staffing challenges and develop tailored solutions to meet their workforce needs.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients, ensuring terms are aligned with business objectives.
- Team Development and Management:
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to the recruitment team to drive success and improve productivity.
- Set performance goals and KPIs for the team, track progress, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on achieving business targets.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Manage daily operations related to the staffing process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for healthcare staffing, including licensure and credential verification.
- Optimize recruitment processes and technology platforms to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the client base by leveraging industry contacts and business networks.
- Participate in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to enhance the firm's visibility and attract new business.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for expanding into new markets and regions.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare staffing, with a proven track record in recruiting and client management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, overseeing recruitment teams and operational processes.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including current trends, licensure requirements, credentialing, and compliance.
- Familiarity with a wide range of healthcare roles (nurses, allied health professionals, physicians, etc.) and the specific staffing needs for each.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM software, and other recruitment and staffing tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Experience in business development or expanding client relationships in the healthcare staffing industry.
- Industry Network:
- Strong industry network and relationships with healthcare facilities or professionals.
