Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide personalized support and care to individuals with varying needs, including autism and related conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals in group home facilities and assisted living settings
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition
  • Encourage participation in community activities and provide transportation as needed
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure high-quality care and services

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
