Your Responsibilities

The Lead Supply Chain Strategist will report directly to the Senior Supply Chain Manager within our Household division. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance the comprehensive supply chain operations, ensuring product availability aligns with customer demand while optimizing costs and maintaining exceptional service levels. This role encompasses demand forecasting, inventory oversight, production scheduling, procurement, and logistics management. You will work closely with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, production, and logistics, as well as external partners and suppliers.

Key Duties Include:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (PMO, Procurement, Vendors, 3PL, Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance) to achieve performance objectives.
  • Working with KIK facilities and suppliers to ensure sufficient inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to meet production and customer needs.
  • Guaranteeing customer satisfaction while minimizing disruptions in production schedules due to material shortages.
  • Managing projects related to production line adjustments, including product discontinuations and new product launches.
  • Conducting safety stock assessments to establish optimal inventory levels.
  • Establishing effective communication channels with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, and Vendors to enhance customer service while managing inventory effectively.
  • Taking ownership of the allocation process during supply or service disruptions.
  • Being the primary custodian of planning and inventory control master data parameters.
  • Performing forecasting and data analysis on current and incoming inventory to predict stock-out occurrences.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses as required.
  • Evaluating and coordinating the management of excess and obsolete inventory.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • APICS/CPIM certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with adaptability to change.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office).
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems (experience with JD Edwards is a plus).
