Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take medical histories, record vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations
- Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing patient records
- Provide patient education and support, promoting understanding of treatment plans and health outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations
Requirements:
- Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school or GED graduation
- Graduation from a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES (for Levels II-IV)
- 1-3 years of clinical experience (for Levels II-IV)
