Pet Stylist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pet Stylist to join our team at American Veterinary Group. As a Pet Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips, and ear cleansing.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients, including cleaning cages, tubs, and grooming tables, vacuuming and mopping the floor, and cleaning clipper blades, scissors, and brushes after use.
  • Recommend retail products that would aid in home grooming care of pets.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of prior grooming experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds.
  • Must be reliable, a team player with a positive attitude, and have a great work ethic.
