Position Overview

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory certifications include: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), along with AHA BLS.
Job Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and demonstrating technical proficiency in MRI operations.
  • Producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI, with a preference for candidates who have Level 1 or II Trauma Experience.
Work Schedule

The position entails:

  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 11 PM to 7 AM.
  • A contract duration of 13 weeks with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, noting that the first two weeks may not guarantee hours.
  • Flexibility to float between units with similar skill sets and availability for weekend shifts as required.
Additional Information

Other relevant details include:

  • Utilization of EPIC for electronic medical records.
  • Uniform requirements: any colored scrubs are acceptable, but black tops are not permitted.
