Job Summary

The University of California Irvine is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team. As a PICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Transport critically ill patients to other facilities as needed
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease processes and treatment options
Requirements
  • Current California RN license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification
  • At least 1 year of experience as a PICU RN
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
