Regional Dietitian

EmpRes Operated by Evergreen is seeking a Regional Registered Dietitian to lead dietary service activities for residents in two SNFs - Washington Care Center and North Cascades building. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with experience in long-term care and food service management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Collaborate with nursing services, dietary services, and physicians to ensure residents receive adequate and safe nutrition.
- Monitor and evaluate residents' nutritional risk and document findings in medical records.
- Attend nutrition and hydration committee meetings to discuss resident care and menu planning.
- Review and approve menus to ensure they meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Participate in various meetings and committees as appointed, including continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and systems to support residents' nutritional health and food service areas.
- Provide in-services to dietary services and other staff on nutrition and dietetics topics.
- May serve as a preceptor for new employees and train new dietary services managers.
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or food service administration.
- Completion of a dietetic internship or equivalent.
- Registered with the American Dietetic Association and completion of continuing education to remain registered.
- State licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
- Prefer long-term care experience and/or food service supervisory experience.
