Key Responsibilities- Operate a mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician.
- Explain the procedure to patients, position and immobilize the patient's breast in the unit, and observe the scanning process.
- Ensure accurate and high-quality images are produced.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Completion of a AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
- Mammography certification.
- 2 years of experience in mammography.
- Preferred experience with 2 Hologic Dimensions 3D units and GE Seno 2000D unit.
- Mammography Certification.
- Connecticut ARRT license.
- Valid BLS.
- Proof of right to work in the United States.
- English language proficiency.
