About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Stop & Shop. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services, including patient counseling and other health services.
  • Use pharmacy dispensing software to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
  • Register all related sales in point of sale/cash register, collect and handle cash as required.
  • Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist.
  • Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, cycle counting, and storing of pharmaceuticals.
  • Model and deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Perform duties as assigned and supervised by the pharmacist in accordance with Stop & Shop standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Current student enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy program with the ability to administer vaccinations.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Pharmacy Intern license in Good Standing with state board of pharmacy.
