The Academic Advisor will provide academic guidance and support to students in the Nursing Program. This includes advising students on course selection, academic progress, and career goals. The advisor will also assist with the development and implementation of academic success plans for students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic advising to students in the Nursing Program
- Assist with the development and implementation of academic success plans for students
- Monitor student progress and provide support as needed
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure student success
- Participate in departmental and university-wide initiatives to promote student success
- Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related field
- Experience working in higher education, preferably in nursing or health sciences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
The Academic Advisor will work in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
