MasterTech Power Generation Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at MasterTech, a dynamic shop in Kansas City. As a Power Generation Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing quality repairs to customer equipment in our state-of-the-art facility.
You will integrate into an established team of knowledgeable, reliable, and team-oriented diesel techs who excel in diagnosing, troubleshooting, overhauling, and repairing engines and generators from various manufacturers such as Generac, Atlas Copco, Kohler, Yanmar, Aggreko, Cummins, PACCAR, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, Mercedes, Navistar, International, Duramax, etc.
A key aspect of this role is experience with PLCs, Data Center Switch Gear, Transfer Switches, Load Bank Testing, AC/DC systems, and other related technologies. If you have a strong background in these areas, you will be given preference.
In this position, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of $43.50 to start, based on your experience and training. After the first 90 days, you will be eligible for benefits, including:

The work schedule is primarily day shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility required to accommodate emergencies and extraneous projects.
