Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care/Coronary Unit at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and expertise in caring for critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, utilizing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains, requiring a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
- Float to other units as needed, including Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, and Med Surg units, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
- Current CA RN license, with a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with a focus on maintaining currency and proficiency in life-saving skills.
- EPIC charting experience, with a strong understanding of electronic medical records and data management.
- Level II trauma critical care experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care in high-pressure situations.
Work Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts, providing a stable and predictable work schedule.
- Day shifts, with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
- 0700 start time, allowing for a smooth and efficient start to the day.
