Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at North Country HealthCare. As a Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing general diagnostic radiographic procedures and their clerical functions, as well as in-house laboratory services and their clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing general diagnostic x-ray imaging of urgent care, primary care, and x-ray walk-in patients.
  • Using radiation safety practices in regards to patients, staff, and technologists.
  • Preparing and utilizing all general radiographic equipment.
  • Overseeing repair and maintenance of radiology equipment.
  • Monitoring and ensuring accuracy of medical records as it relates to the radiology department patients.
  • Safely and effectively obtaining blood/urine samples.
  • Performing urine drug screens and alcohol breath testing using approved federal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Board Certification, MRTBE state license in Medical Radiology.
  • Laboratory experience preferred but willing to train if necessary.
