About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Civil to join our team at Exyte. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality construction documents and technical solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex construction documents and technical solutions for civil engineering projects
  • Conduct independent work in the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) Engineering discipline
  • Develop and implement engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for civil engineering projects
  • Collaborate with local Professional Land Surveyors to produce civil engineering drawings
  • Research and implement local ordinances and regulations into design deliverables
  • Support 3-D modeling and adjusting between Civil 3D and Revit to coordinate final deliverables
  • Assist in cost estimates and quantity take-offs for ongoing projects, proposals, forecasts, and change-orders
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers, EI's, designers, drafters, and technicians
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Civil Design and using AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Bachelor's in Engineering required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record preferred
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team setting to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Exhibit characteristics of an emerging or developed leader
  • Be capable of enjoying the work and keeping a positive attitude in a challenging environment
  • Knowledgeable and productive in the Revit work environment preferred or willingness to learn
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem solver
  • Previous experience with large projects and industrial projects preferred
