About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate various testing equipment including spectrometer, FTIR analyzer, moisture analyzers, pH meter, burets, beta & aflatoxin analyzers, chlorine analyzer, pipettors, and laboratory testing equipment.
  • Perform daily quality audits and checks on the plant floor as assigned.
  • Fulfill required worksheets and logs accurately.
  • Maintain confidentiality of results in accordance with the Company Letter of Confidentiality.
  • Keep laboratories stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Communicate results professionally and timely to designated individuals.
  • Prepare solutions and media for laboratory tests.
  • Recognize and notify supervisors of unusual results or product defects.
  • Perform re-checks for analytical and microbiological testing.
  • Aid in training new Quality Assurance personnel.
  • Assist in calibrations, troubleshooting, and functionality of lab equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Dairy Science, Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Comparable experience in dairy laboratory testing within the last 10 years.
  • Ability to acquire a Certified Sampler license by the state regulatory agency.
  • Capacity to be licensed as Certified Industry Supervisor in accordance with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (current edition) and state regulatory agency.

Salary: Competitive weekly pay ($55,000-$65,000)

Location: 3rd Shift 6:00PM-6:30AM
