Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Per Diem Nurse - Med Surg / Telemetry to join our team. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in the state of Iowa
  • Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent clinical experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
  • Active BLS certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
