Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Brookline, Massachusetts.
This is an ongoing opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures, assembling supplies, equipment, and instrumentation required for the procedure.
- Perform counting procedures in concert with the RN circulator, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with placement of sterile drapes, providing instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure.
- Maintain an organized sterile field, ensuring sterility and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare sterile dressings, clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing, and transport them to the decontamination areas.
- Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and preparation of the room for subsequent patients.
- Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities, precepting staff to surgical technician job duties.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of individuals and health information.

Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Surgical Technician Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
- Must present and submit Certification of Graduation from an ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program.
