About the Role

We are seeking a skilled End-of-Life Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting deceased individuals to designated locations while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compassion.

  • Safe Transportation: Safely drive company-owned vehicles to transport deceased individuals, adhering to local and state/provincial laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Interaction: Collaborate with first responders, coroners, hospital staff, and senior living facility representatives, accommodating their processes and procedures.
  • Home Transfers: Interact with bereaved family members in a courteous and professional manner, exhibiting sensitivity to their environment and minimizing conversation.
  • Event Reporting: Enter deceased event information into proprietary software according to company procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A current state/province-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • At least one (1) year of work experience as a courier or driver, preferably with direct customer interaction.
Physical Demands

This role requires:

  • Frequent, continuous periods of time standing, up to 6 hours per day.
  • Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 75 pounds.
