Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Personal Safety, Quality, and Schedule Adherence: Ensure personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence in all aspects of the job.
  • Comply with Job Hazard Analysis, Pre-Job Brief, and Lock-Out-Tag-Out Procedures: Comply with all relevant procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform QA Inspections of Completed Installations: Conduct quality assurance inspections of completed installations to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Perform Start-up and Commissioning for New PV Installations: Perform start-up and commissioning for new PV installations, set parameters, and monitor performance levels.
  • Assist with Developing Maintenance Programs: Assist with developing maintenance programs and provide accurate and timely inspection reports.
  • Conduct Field Service to Diagnose and Repair Commercial/Industrial PV Systems: Conduct field service to diagnose and repair commercial/industrial PV systems, including electrical, mechanical, and IT components.
  • Strive to Ensure Proper Operations of PV Systems: Ensure proper operations of PV systems and strive to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Manage Inventory of Parts and Equipment: Manage inventory of parts and equipment to ensure availability and efficiency.
  • Complete Non-Service-Related Tasks: Complete non-service-related tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving background.
  • Willingness to Travel: Be willing to travel to remote sites and stay on location as needed.
  • Ability to be Coached and Mentored: Demonstrate the ability to be coached and mentored.
Education and Experience
  • High School or GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • Minimum 2 Years of Relevant Work Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting (wind, HVAC, electrician) and PV experience beneficial.
  • Microsoft Office and Computer Background: Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and a general computer background.
