As a Pharmacy Technician at McLean Hospital(MCL), you will play a vital role in the provision of pharmaceutical care services. You will assist pharmacists and administrative staff in ensuring the efficient operation and productivity of the Pharmacy Department.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares pharmaceutical preparations in a quality manner under the direction of the pharmacist utilizing pharmacy software and hardware systems.
Performs Omnicell pharmacy functions, ensuring accurate and timely medication distribution.
Maintains inventory levels, performing monthly inspections to identify expired or damaged pharmaceuticals.
Requirements
High school graduate
MA Pharmacy Technician Registration required, Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital setting preferred, with extensive knowledge of Omnicell or Pyxis medication management preferred.
Work Schedule
Rotating shift including weekends and holidays.
