Agricultural Commercial Lender

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Commercial Lender to join our team at The Callaway Bank. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing secured and unsecured Ag and Commercial loans. You will also establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as other financial institutions.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and other financial institutions.
• Originate, underwrite, and close Ag and Commercial loans in accordance with established lending objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and review past due loans, identify problem or delinquent accounts, and take appropriate action.
• Participate in the extension of credit to agricultural and/or commercial loan customers.
• Review and evaluate customer applications for lines of credit or loan extensions, and authorize or recommend approval in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
• Direct and participate in the closing of approved Ag and Commercial loan agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Develop and maintain an active calling program to provide banking services to existing customers, including loans, deposits, investments, and trust services as needed.
• Identify and manage call referrals/joint calls within the bank for other bank-related services to cross-sell opportunities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact face-to-face and via telephone with customers and team members.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• Lending experience preferred.
• Analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
