Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medication Assistant to join our team. As a Medication Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with medication distribution, daily living activities, and other essential tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in distributing medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Report any changes or concerns to the nurse or designated charge person immediately
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Inventory and mark residents' personal possessions as instructed
  • Transport residents to new rooms or to the receiving area
  • Maintain accurate intake and output records as instructed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
