Position: MRI Technologist - Radiology

Location: Sparks, Nevada

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist
- Minimum of two (2) years in a leadership role in MRI with a preference for acute care background.

Educational Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Completion of a diploma program from an accredited Radiology institution is required.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare is preferred.
- Current ARRT(MR) certification is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.

Key Responsibilities:
As an MRI Technologist, you will report directly to the designated leader within the Imaging Department.

Your role will involve delivering clinical services in alignment with MRI practice standards and serving as a resource for MRI students and fellow technologists, ensuring the Imaging Department operates efficiently.

To fulfill our mission, you will implement sound patient care practices in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, prioritizing patient safety at all times.

Your expertise in maintaining magnetic safety for patients, staff, and yourself, as per departmental protocols and regulatory standards, is crucial.

It is essential to keep equipment, examination rooms, and workspaces organized and safe to guarantee the well-being of both patients and team members.

Additionally, you will be expected to complete ancillary tasks that support consistent and efficient departmental operations.
