Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and respectful service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance as needed.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and digital orders.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and break room.
  • Receive and process inbound freight, preparing and placing merchandise on the sales floor according to DSW standards.
  • Complete markdowns, maintain clearance standards, and organize and maintain the stockroom.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including asset protection and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Professional, friendly, and respectful demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to move with tempo to meet time-bound expectations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of technology to engage with customers.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store.
  • Lifting, including the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience as a Cashier, Retail Floor Generalist, or Store Receiver.

Education:

  • Some High School Education.
