Seaford DE Delivery Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Helper to join our team at KISS Transport LLC. As a Delivery Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and successful deliveries to customers daily.
Key Responsibilities- Support Drivers on the road by ensuring all necessary tools are in the vehicle before departure.
- Refrain from handling vehicle keys to prevent confusion and enhance vehicle security.
- Communicate effectively with Drivers about upcoming stops and potential hazards on the route.
- Review the manifest and be aware of Scheduled Deliveries (SD) locations on the route.
- Facilitate In-Home Services deliveries by notifying the Driver of pre-call requirements and adjusting the route if needed.
- Perform a walk-the-path before a service delivery to prevent accidents and property damage.
- Notify the dispatcher and contact Amazon for assistance if the Driver is unable to continue the route.
- Organize packages in the cargo area, ensuring the lift gate is extended for safety.
- $16.5/hour (paid biweekly)
- Typical 10-hour shifts
- Flexible work schedule
- 4-day workweek (40 hours)
- Minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break per shift

The hiring process typically takes approximately 2 weeks to complete. It may be longer with an out-of-state driver's license.
