Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphics and Compute Safety Critical Software Development Engineer to join our team at CoreAVI. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge graphics and compute technology, driving innovation in the aviation, automotive, and autonomous spaces.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, integrate, debug, and certify graphics drivers that implement Vulkan SC across a range of GPUs in the CoreAVI portfolio.
  • Design, develop, and test products based on Vulkan SC, ensuring compliance with Khronos conformance test suites.
  • Create internal test suites for Vulkan SC drivers and derived products to support quality assurance.
  • Develop baseline drivers and products on Windows/Linux for deployment on safety-critical operating systems and targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably with accelerated graphics and compute platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, collaboration, and team-building skills.
  • Diligent, tenacious, high integrity, strong work ethic, and sound problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
  • Experience with 3D graphics and compute APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan).
  • Knowledge of performance analysis tools and debugging techniques.
