CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machining centers to manufacture precision machined parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machining centers to manufacture precision machined parts
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts to customer specifications
  • Perform quality control checks on finished parts
  • Collaborate with production team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CNC milling machines
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to work with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics
  • Experience with quality control and inspection procedures
Work Environment:

The CNC Machinist will work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The employee will be required to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
