Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Altru Health System. As a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for educating patients on radiology procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and performing all radiographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Preparation: Educate patients on radiology procedures, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe.
  • Radiographic Procedures: Perform all radiographic procedures, monitoring patients and ensuring proper technical factors and equipment operation.
  • Image Review: Review images for quality and completeness, adhering to standard operating procedures and provider preferences.
  • Patient Care: Provide individualized patient care and comfort, educating patients and families on procedures and optimizing their understanding within scope of responsibility.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare and administer IV and oral contrast under the direction of a Radiologist/Radiologist Assistant, ensuring prior images are available and completing all Epic Processes.
Requirements
  • Temporary ND license accepted prior to start
  • Ability to work overnights, with a 7-on, 7-off schedule
  • 64 hours per pay period, with varying shifts
